Our Greek Orthodox Youth of America, or GOYA, ministers to Middle School and High School teens. The mission is to provide our youth with the opportunity for fellowship, service, witness, and worship with one another, and with other members throughout the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, so they may grow in wisdom, faith, and love for Christ, His Church, and everyone around them. Activities include religious retreats, worship, service, athletic activities, and social programs.
The Philoptochos (Friends of the Poor) Society is the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The mission of Philoptochos is “to help the poor, the destitute, the hungry, the aged, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the widowed, those with disabilities and the victims of disasters”. Members of the parish who are 18 and over are encouraged to join.
